This was the second time I have used Jewellery Doctor and the service was as good as the first time. Two antique rings needed jewels replacing and general fixing and the work was carried out quickly and easily. A few days after receiving the items back, I noticed one of the seed pearls had fallen out of the ring again and Jewellery Doctor replaced it without charge. Excellent service. The pearl has since fallen out again so its obviously a fault with the ring so I will live with it - its so tiny no one will notice!

I recent had a missing stone replaced in my bracelet and The Jewellery Doctor did a good repair. The stones are turquoise in colour so not the easiest colour to match up but, looking at the stones on the bracelet now, you would not know that one of the stones is not original.

Great repair of extending Native American vintage watch and re-stringing and adding extra links to Links of London Sweetie bracelet. The watch is now a perfect fit and will make an excellent addition to my sleeping beauty turquoise collection, I was fully informed about the repair and warned that the bracelet may not be as loose as I wanted it, but it was perfect! I was so excited to hear that my jewellery would be delivered the following day, but alas Royal Mail inadvertently re-directed it - no fault of the Jewellery Doctor at all! I accidentally knocked a diamond out of my wedding band and sent it for repair, I thought I may as well have it replated at the same time and also sent my engagement and eternity band for replating. They came back like new and for a more than reasonable price. I knew exactly what was happening at each stage thanks to the emails keeping me informed. What a fantastic service. I bought a ring from abroad for my daughters birthday and when it arrived it was a size Z instead of N. This is the second time I have used the jewellery doctor, I sent some rings in with missing stones and they have come back looking brand new, they cleaned and reshaped them. I sent the Jewellery Doctor my gold charm bracelet to have some changes made so that I could give it to my granddaughter for her 18th birthday in April. Delighted with the repair I received on very old eternity ring. The ring wasnt expensive but of great sentimental value , and had lost a tiny sapphire. The stone and clasps were replaced, and the ring cleaned up, to look very shiny again. The ring looks like new, and I am so glad I had it repaired. The service was quick and efficient.

I googled silver jewellery repair and the jewellery doctor came up free quotes I thought why not its free. So I sent off for the special delivery envelope , I also put in a crucifix and chain that I got 45 years ago . The chain had snapped at the clasp .
The quoted price was for the 2 items and was the same price I had been quoted for the bracelet repair.
I gave the go-ahead , paid and couldnt be more pleased with the job .
They both look like new !

I sent 2 relatively inexpensive silver rings to be resized due to having injured my finger resulting in a bigger knuckle. My local jeweller said it would be ‘hundreds’ to size them up and obviously weren’t interested in helping me. Jewellery Doctor sized them up beautifully for less than one hundred. The jewellery doctor is a very good and efficient service. I found this place online, filled in my details and a very “professional “ envelope and instructions arrived very quickly. I have a beautiful pair of diamond “drop” earrings one which had become detached/broken. Due to lockdown I had left my earring for several months. I decided to trust the jewellery doctor and wasn’t disappointed. I knew when they arrived and I was advised of cost by email. I paid online ( very reasonable) and my earrings were returned ( well packaged) very quickly. I was delighted with the results. I also included my great grandmother’s engagement ring which required resizing and as with my earrings I was delighted with the new “shank” it fits perfectly. This is the third time I have used Jewellery Doctor and the third time I have been delighted with their service. Ive lost a lot of weight recently so my wedding and engagement rings were almost falling off. I sent the rings, plus my late Mums eternity ring off to be resized. I was very impressed with their service. I needed a replacement stone for an opal ring and they went to a considerable amount of trouble to find a good match.
I sent my engagement ring off to Jewellery Doctor after the stone had fallen out somehow and been lost, being a white gold material aswell some of the plating had been rubbed down from daily wear and it had started to turn slightly yellow, the freepost envelope came really fast and was super easy and convenient, there was quite a long delay on my repair unfortunately and I ended up having to wait a few months before getting my ring back, however my repair did take place during the Covid-19 lockdown etc and so I do think this was largely to blame for the long wait, and the communication throughout was fab I was kept informed of everything that was happening. Very impressed with our repairs. We had engravings in all 3 rings and all 3 have come back in tact with no distortions. Was kept informed all the way through and the service was fast and efficient, even with the current corona situation. We were told that due to the patterning on the rings, there would be a noticeable mark where the rings had been resized. However, even with very close inspection I cannot find the mark at all! All 3 rings were resized and you cannot tell at all that they have been.

The only complaint I could make was that the post office would not accept that the envelope had been prepaid for so I had to pay again. Amazing! I had a black chrome Amanda wakley ring that couldn’t be repaired either by Amanda wakley, here in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter or anywhere else online. You committed to trying to repair but we’re honest enough to say you couldn’t re-thread the ring with metal. So....what have I got? A wearable repaired ring that I am truly delighted with! It’s gone from the unwearable box to barely being off my finger since it arrived back. I’m grateful, thankful and would highly recommend you.

We found your website after doing a Google search when the ring we wanted resized was too expensive using a local jeweller. Got a quote on what I put, which was actually slightly more than the final cost. A pre-paid envelope was sent out for me to send the ring in. I was emailed at all events, eg. Ring arrived, repair started, repair compete, ring returned. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and couldnt fault any of it. Waited for the ring to be returned to see if the lower cost had been worth it, and I must say it was beyond expectations. I have another ring and a necklace that needs repair work doing and I most definitely will be using you again. Great service, great work and very much value for money.
